Going to Cedar Point

The Glasgow trio have had their hand doing less commercial sounding music before they became CHVRCHES , but hey, why not do some big choruses and catchy hooks and get signed by Virgin?
Before they were CHVRCHES there was Blue Sky Archives, Aereogramme, The Unwinding Hours and The Twilight Sad, not your typical pop band variety.

I don't think I properly pronouce Abel Tesfaye, aka the Weeknd, he landed “Kiss Land” earlier this year, you’re watching fuzzy security camera tapes, a bit NSFW but that hasn't stopped you before.

Abel's also plays(on) a hitman in Juicy J's video. Hollywood?!

The Californian Clavin sisters who are Bleached, punk out emo style with some fun colorful visuals to trip to. Welcome Summertime!

This shiz is catchy,"Wavves",which is Nathan Williams and a revolving door or other band members, used to give off such a post-acid-west-coast-surf-rock vibe, they still sound that way, but in the video it all comes off pretty gothy with the rocker hair and mannerisms. Not to mention the big guy with his mastery of swords, he could be the new Gallagher who knows. It gets even weirder when he starts chopping meat and everyone starts digging in.

Warp records "Oneohtrix Point Never"'s video for "Still Life" is old school high tech visuals. I really can't figure it all out and all but thats why they probably why they are calling this an "excerpt".

"Bloc Party" Brit band has been at it for awhile, their new video for their song "Ratchet" gets increasingly more absurd and fractally, good times.

Partially filmed on the Empire State Building, I get vertigo just watching them up there, yeah yeah.

Another lyric video from Sub Pop darlings "Washed Out", who sound like their name, which apparently is a good thing.

"Solar Year", duo from Montreal(now in L.A?), link up with director Allie Avital Tsypin for their new video. This beautifully shot video covers alot of ground to say the least. The band states;“The music video for “Global Girlfriend” is essentially a series of “paintings” that explore sacred spaces, death, relaxation, and ideas of paradise."

A-Trak and Armand Van Helden-duo "Duck Sauce" already have a video for their club track "It’s You” and they are NY barbers. I guess you have to live in NY to get it.I luv the neon haired dreads tho@(2:07)

Since seeing the crazy dominoes video for his "Tuna Melt" track, I've now trusted A-Trak for zany music videos, this one for "Jumbo" features alot of different perpective basketball.

Boston based shoegazi punk Young Adults challenge societal norms in this self help music video.
